Network Engineer

Your main responsibilities :

About the role : 

On behalf of our client based in Canton of Valais , we are looking for a Network Engineer / Telecommunications Engineer to strengthen the team responsible for network and telecommunications infrastructure.

Your responsibilities

As part of the Telecommunications team, you will contribute to both day-to-day operations and infrastructure development projects.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Handling daily operational activities, including service requests, incident management and maintenance.
• Integrating new requirements and solutions into the existing network environment.
• Participating in the implementation of new technical solutions.
• Ensuring the operational security and availability of production environments.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance activities.
• Keeping technical documentation and equipment inventories up to date.
• Contributing to the management and development of the telecommunications equipment infrastructure.
• Supporting the automation of configuration and deployment tasks across telecommunications platforms.

Your profile

• CCNP Enterprise certification is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of experience working on technical network infrastructure projects.
• Excellent knowledge of network architectures, transport protocols and routing.
• Strong expertise in Cisco environments.
• Excellent knowledge of firewall environments.
• Good knowledge of Unified Communications (UC) architectures.
• Proven experience managing telecommunications equipment and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience producing technical documentation.
• CCSA or CCSE certifications are a strong advantage.
• Strong organisational skills, autonomy and excellent written communication skills.
